1.4.0-b3 Error Saving Purchase Transaction

I've hit a problem using 1.4.0-b3 and would appreciate any help or
guidance in resolving the issue:

Purchases->Add Transaction
Enter details and click 'Update' followed by 'Save'

Gives:
