Although I primarily use Debian myself I do realize that a
significant number of people use Ubuntu, as evidenced by the people
who've posted recently about issues with installing and/or running
LedgerSMB on Ubuntu systems. In part because of those issues, I've been
looking into what is needed for getting packages backported to earlier
Ubuntu versions (like the LTS versions) and found that part of the
standard process for that are test builds at Launchpad.

I'm using my PPA for that right now but I'm thinking of starting
something like a 'LedgerSMB Ubuntu Team' project there, perhaps to be
managed/used as part of our infrastructure. In any case, I'm thinking to
use its package archive (which can be used directly in an apt
sources.list) at least for test builds for backports and perhaps for
test/experimental builds for Ubuntu systems.
