The lack of itemnotes is the part that shafts me most--I can figure everything else out based on itemnotes, but without them my only choice is to revise my workflow to start hacking descriptions. Hopefully, it preserves one-off customized descriptions at least, which is my only other way to keep using LSMB for this element of business. Although, if it preserved changed descriptions, I suppose pulling itemnotes would be not a big deal, so I don't have much hope for that--I'd guess it's using the stock inventory description, rather than the one on the order, but haven't tested.

The basic problem is that the application does not retrieve actual
order or line item information and hence we don't have enough data to
reliably preserve things like item notes, departments, etc.  Trying to
shim this into the current data structure isn't really possible
either.  The only way these can be fixed is by tearing out several
hundred lines of code and rewriting.  I suppose once things are
working on 1.3, the fix might be able to be backported, but I am not
entirely sure.
